The Solastar is the world's first application specific, high efficiency submersible solar water pump. It is extremely versatile and ideal for multi-purpose and economic water pumping applications, perfect for replacing most of the conventional windmill and petrol or diesel water pumping installations.

Applications for solar water pumps are diverse, ranging from stock and game watering from boreholes, rivers and dams to water supplies for farm houses, holiday homes, water supply for rural communities, clinics, schools, agricultural irrigation systems, and much more.

The Solastar works with nature’s most reliable and freely available energy source – the sun. Specifically designed for harsh environments and extreme climatic conditions, the fully integrated pump forms part of a cost effective submersible solar powered water pumping system, which requires minimal skill to install, an important factor in inaccessible and remote areas.
